Bio
Hi! My name is Luke Williams, a senior Computer and Systems Engineering and Computer Science student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I have more than two years of experience providing 1-on-1 tutoring services and mentoring underclassmen in the computer science and computer engineering departments. In addition to a well-established understanding of introductory and core computer science and engineering courses at RPI (especially data structures), I have much to offer in the areas of data and AI, particularly with deep learning and computer vision, as those have been the focuses of my undergraduate research under Dr. Charles Stewart.
In addition to my academic background, I have held three internships and a couple part-time jobs in areas ranging from silicon fabrication to data engineering/science, and I currently have a job offer at Palantir Technologies for full-time post-graduation. I can offer some insight into the internship and new grad job markets for computer science and engineering majors, particularly in finding unique opportunities for these majors outside the established tech industry.
Thank you for considering me!
